About The Pastoral Department
The Pastoral Department deals with the core business of the Archdiocese of Kisumu. The purpose of the Archdiocese is to fulfill the mandate of the Good Pastor who sent the Apostles to go and evangelize (to bring Good News to) all the nations (Mt 16: 15-16). Everything done by the Archdiocese is done from a pastoral conviction, in the example of the Good Shepherd who does everything for the sheep, including laying down his life for them (John 10:1-18).
This Department, headed by our Vicar General Rev. Fr. Moses Omollo (See Photo), coordinates all the pastoral activities of the Archdiocese. The following are the key areas that this Office is concerned with:
